Chris Fowles is a Director & Editor who lives in London — when he’s not traveling between New York and Los Angeles, shooting spots for A-list brands like Google, Xbox, Volvo, Kia and Range Rover. He initially studied psychology before going on to train at the Bournemouth Film School. As you can imagine, working on sets, his psychology skills have come in handy.
After deciding he was not going to spend his days facing a couch, Chris shot his first short, “Sleeping Dogs”, which was recognized by the Welsh BAFTA’s. This led to work with Guy Richie and a long list of creative collaborators Chris is too modest to mention. In 2017, he was commissioned to direct a documentary for the BBC and the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust. The film explored three different generations of conflict, and was praised by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Kahn, as ‘urgent and unforgettable.’
Chris’s jump into commercial directing has also gained praise and admiration from the powers that be. His work for Xboxwon 5 Clios, including 2 golds, as well as 3 Cannes Lions and a Gold pencil. He’s received accolades from the British Arrows for his Pride in London work and a UK MVA for Cavetown’s Fall in Love With a Girl–a vid with almost 1.5million views in six months.
