The Artists

GAMUT

GAMUT is a creative studio led by Gregory Stern and Ara Devejian. For over two decades, they’ve directed, creative directed, and consulted for many of the world’s leading brands and production studios. You’ve inevitably seen their work on a long list of podiums as well as in the pages of Shots, Ad Age, Time, WSJ & Fast Company–among others.

With roots in film, writing, and design, they shape the full arc of the process—from the first spark of an idea through every phase of production and into finishing. Hands-on at every stage, they treat each step as an opportunity to refine, reimagine, and push the work further—across music videos, feature films, high fashion, automotive, kinetic typography, and global product launches that continue to nudge the cultural needle.

Emerging AI tools fold seamlessly into their practice, reducing friction, expanding scope, and enabling more transformative work.

DrMachakil

Mehdi, aka Dr. Machakil, is a Moroccan-born creative director, digital artist, and Webby Award winner (among others) with a deep passion for cinema and the poetry of film. He began as a filmmaker in France, directing short films and TV pilots before spending two decades as a Creative Director, blending brand strategy, narrative content, and cultural impact for world-wide brands.

Dr. Machakil’s  love for innovative motion picture storytelling naturally led him to AI as an evolution of what a single creator can dream and build for original stories and brand content. Today, his AI works are winning global acclaim, including World’s Best AI Trailer and The Prompt Floor mockumentary, heralded as “The peak of AI video meme culture.”

Mehdi believes that AI is the lifetime opportunity to explore new narrative formats and keep reimagining what stories can be.

MYLDR

JC Frugård, Terje Boye & Gaute Hesthagen are an AI film directing team known as MYLDR, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible when human creativity collides with artificial intelligence. They continue to created campaigns for international clients like Mastercard, Lego, Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, IKEA, M&M‘s, and Epson

Through ongoing testing of the latest AI solutions for script development, research, planning, and visualization, the duo offer concrete insights into which tools deliver real value–and reveal where they may not meet the hype. Both JC and Gaute bring extensive live action and visual effects experience; using AI to enhance these “traditional” processes to push creative boundaries while respecting budgetary constraints.

Their brand work is regularly featured in SHOTS, has won both domestic and international statues, while their short films have screened at festivals worldwide, including The Lot’s* first AI film festival,  in Los Angeles.

And if you ever need directors for a zero gravity project, you’ll never find more experienced guys than them.
